I surely realize it now as my girlfriend’s son, Dylan, is high-functioning autistic. Wow, what a cool kid!
He ’s so creative and intelligent! He’s shown me that people with autism, though they might view the world a bit differently, can still be fully capable of holding down a job. He and others like him just need that chance.
Serving A Purpose While Driving Awareness
H.A.N.D. is to act as a gateway for individuals with autism so they gain independence, develop important responsibility skills and social and leadership skills. As a nonprofit, we are supporting those with autism by employment and empowerment of such individuals while driving awareness to the cause.
